Jakob Reiter started his career as a producer in 2013, and during that year and the following years, he released several EP’s until 2016. Since then, and until the last part of last year 2020, there was a silence in his production only interrupted by a release in 2018, Metroland, in collaboration with a regular partner in his productions, Moritz Ochsenbauer.
But from that final part of 2020 onwards, Jakob resumes his activity and now brings us the first preview EP of the album The Aftermath, which will be released at the end of 2021. It’s a 3 track EP called I Feel Like, which perfectly steps into the newly released summer, makes the hearts of festival dancers beat faster and creates a sense of freedom in a world that seems so regulated at the moment.
In anticipation of his mind-blowing album, the producer now serves up tracks suitable for enjoying the ceremonies under the rising and shining sun. Osho turns the corner with an incredibly cohesive groove that soars over synth flags and strong vocals, to climb even higher in the drop.
The EP’s eponymous track, I Feel Like, is the perfect warm-up number for outdoor sets, bouncing the hips, gleefully looking forward to the future.
With Puncto, the Cologne producer delivers an even heavier and more exciting 909 bass drum groove, sprinkled with more techno-heavy tracks than you can imagine in one of Sven Vath’s DJ sets. Rush hour.
The I Feel Like EP leaves all listeners imagining the end of limitations and a juicy beginning of free love on the dancefloors of this world.
We look forward to hearing that album in its entirety, and for now you can pre-order the EP here. Release date July 30th on Turbolenz Records.
