Brendan Gregoriy, the Irish producer better known as Chymera, releases his new EP Varial Crush via Sound of Berlin on July 30th.
Chymera began his career as a producer in 2002 and has been releasing worldwide since 2006. This time he brings us an energetic EP released through the Berlin label. On Varial Crush there is a taste of the Irishman’s personal stamp, with a House-tinged track full of infectious rhythm but with an elegant and classy melody.
On the second track, Earth, Chymera creates an evolution in his creation with a House start that ends up drifting into Techno Dub to complete an EP destined to blow up dancefloors from Berlin to the farthest corners of the planet.
Based in Berlin for a few years now, his work has been released on such prestigious labels as Ovum, Delsin, Cocoon, Kompakt and NRK, projecting his career internationally for more than a decade. In fact, it was in 2007 when he reached his first recording achievement with Midnight at the Aquarium. Since 2015, Brendan has been using another alias, Merrin Karras, where he gives free rein to his more Ambient side, with three albums released since then.
