The first time Seb Wildblood‘s name appeared in public was around 2011, when he started organizing parties at St. Giles, a church in South London… which evidently didn’t have much of a run as it didn’t combine the dancefloor with the altars very well. But it served as a seed for that young man who had barely turned twenty to start a career that has seen him found three labels (Church, Coastal Haze and All My Thoughts), play around the world and have an already respectable and very careful list of record releases.
He is a tireless craftsman of house music in its most experimental facets, always looking for those corners that have not often been explored. Thanks to this curiosity and non-conformism, his works are always appreciated by the international undergound electronic scene.
On this occasion, he delivers a track called Keep On, in which the interesting Canadian vocalist Ouri contributes her voice. The result is one of the most elegant releases we have heard so far this year, with a rhythm that is inspired by UK Garage but with a silky treatment that softens its sound. The melody bears Seb’s personal stamp, with pads that are bright but not blinding, with measured feeling and millimetric precision.
A month ago Wildblood released Jobi, now comes Keep On… we expect a new album from the British producer to arrive very soon.
