House wizards Duv Tales & Kim Young iLL are back on Mhost Likely! The Oslo producers have created a new EP in the label’s Green series with two tracks, Hatt, Frakk & Diskman and Skattekart. With influences from Oslo disco, Duv Tales & Kim Young iLL are emerging artists from the new Norwegian electronic scene to watch closely from now on, in this year 2022.
Although they start releasing their work in 2020, we at 1051 Magazine got to know them from their collaboration with Torje Fagertun Spilde, better known as Third Attempt, remixing a track on that superb album called Quarantine Remixes, which featured prominently on our best of 2021 list.
Third Attempt returns the favour and performs an impeccable remix of Skattekart, again demonstrating the incredible musical maturity of this 23 year old Norwegian producer. Torje applies his personal stamp to the original, creating new sonic layers that wrap in silk but without drowning out the rhythm of the EP’s second track.
