This EP comes from Hungary. The name may not sound familiar to many yet, but the music of Attila Bujdoso aka 88Dubs is constantly playing in the sessions of various international artists. A booth worker, he started producing records about five years ago, having recorded on such prestigious labels as Traum Schallplatten. This time, 88Dubs records for Perce Recordings, a label founded in Berlin by Jepe in 2015.
Sweet Banana is the title of the EP and the track that opens it, which begins with hypnotic claps over which an arpeggio grows and forms the backbone of the track. Somewhere between House and Italo, Sweet Banana is a delayed explosion bomb that floods the dancefloor.
It is followed by Zero Point, with another introduction full of classical percussion that then appears and disappears as the track progresses, which exudes spacey aromas in its melodic part. The EP closes with Dyno Exam, which navigates between House and Techno waters, with Melodic and even Deep variations, with a slightly darker feel than the other two tracks on the EP.
