Deetron returns to Hot Creations with classic House

Deetron returns to Hot Creations with classic House

Today we had a very House day in the 1051 office when it came to deciding who was going to be on the cover of the magazine. No wonder, when we hear tracks that make us want to dance.

On this occasion, a DJ and producer who has already been present in our publication, and repeats on his own merits. Samuel Geiser was born in Bern 44 years ago, although the whole electronic universe knows him as Deetron. Since he started releasing his work back in 1997, Samuel has been a spearhead artist in Techno and House. His versatility is such that he can make an intelligent Techno album released on Jeff Mills’ Axis label, or he can create real House bangers like the ones he brings today.

Deetron returns to Hot Creations (he already signed a remix there many years ago), and delivers a couple of earthquakes for the dancefloor.

Glass is marked by elements of the most classic and effective house, a piano that gets under your skin at the first beat and a rhythmic pattern that makes you sweat. It’s both upbeat and danceable, with Chicago-style house tones that showcase the Swiss’ musical expertise. Come On Back is an equally soulful offering, packed with vocals and pads to create a groovy, club-ready number. Included on the EP is an instrumental version of both tracks on the EP, each offering a more stripped back take on the original.

As we always say, nothing beats hearing the words of the author about his work: “First of all, the tracks are effective DJ tools for the dancefloor, so basically the inspiration was wanting to make people dance. Both songs were made/finished when all the dance floors were closed due to the pandemic, so I think the desire to go back to the clubs can also be heard in the songs”.
