As we have commented on previous occasions, when the release we are talking about has quality and its protagonist is a native of our land, the pleasure is always double.
On this occasion we have with us a veteran agitator of the scene in the north of Castellón, Alfredo Lambán Tena, born on September 13, 1988 and known as F.R.E.D.Y.
His career is already long, and develops in various fields: DJ, producer and promoter of one of the most legendary nights in the region, La Room Club. What interests us today is his facet as a producer, which begins around 2015 with his first release.
Today we talk about his new work, which sees the light of day on Expmental Records, the label based in Perpignan, France, and headed by Eddy Romero.
The new EP of the DJ and producer from Castellón is titled Nicole, and is another sample of the quality and elegance that F.R.E.D.Y. exploits in his work. Underground House, which travels between Deep and Minimal, with measured and careful rhythms and melodies aimed at the dancefloor. Nicole and Four Witches are the two tracks on the EP, both of which receive remixes. Nicole is remixed by Francisco Pedraza aka Frink, in a project that has no choice but to respect the perfect original, adding mainly layers to the percussion and whimsical pads.
Four Witches gets the treatment from Expmental boss Eddy Romero, who brings the EP to a great close with a remix that evokes sounds from the first decade of the 21st century.
