Groove Armada closes 2021 with a new EP

In the office of 1051 Magazine there is an altar where all those who should be in those heights of electronic and dance music can be found.

And there they are, in a very prominent place, well deserved and on its own merits, for fulfilling several of our rules to be there. One of them is to have bequeathed hymns to the history of electronic and dance music, which they more than fulfill, and the other one is the rule of the trilogy, which is none other than having three albums that have been fundamental and masterpieces.

Andy Cato and Tom Findlay, aka Groove Armada, are on our altar, for these merits and for having one of the most powerful and complete live performances of the last decades.

Just recently they announced a farewell tour for the live band mode mentioned above, to celebrate 25 years of live performances. A tour throughout the United Kingdom, which has already had to be extended to Ireland and which we hope will be extended to the rest of Europe at least, and which, in reality, will not be a farewell tour to the stage.

In any case, Tom and Andy are going to say goodbye to the year 2021 with the release of an EP on Origins Records with four house bangers to dance to, with the same quality and elegance as always.

Full Crate EP will be released on Friday 17th, and the EP opens with the silk-titled A Little Longer, featuring the extraordinary vocals of Paris Brightledge and demonstrating how the London duo can make you dance under 100 BPM.

The rhythmic tension rises with the next track, Work From Beyond, and with Brace we’re back on that straight-to-the-dancefloor house terrain that Tom and Andy have been so fond of throughout their career. The EP closes with Won’t You Come Back in style.

Another tremendous sonic artifact from Groove Armada, in the endless list they have in their possession.
