Alejandro Valenzuela is a Chilean producer and DJ who was born in Chuquicamata and raised in the city of Calama until he was 12 years old.
Since his early childhood, Alejandro has been immersed in music with a classical education, which gives him knowledge and discipline, two factors that will be reflected in his adult career.
The Chilean label Agua y Sed, specializing in Minimal House, brings us this five-track EP quasi-album called Musgravita.
It opens with a classic Minimal track, Palta, followed by a tremendous acid rant called Animalian. The third cut in Martes 13 is more restrained and the release closes with Amanita and Venus, two tracks with influences from Andean music and space house respectively.
We will have to follow Ale Valenzuela’s career closely if his first releases denote this maturity and creativity.
